A Chicago native turned Houstonian, Matilda Gilbert has over 20 years of experience in early education and childhood development. Though she retired from the classroom in 2016, she continues to teach as a reading and writing interventionist at a nearby elementary school. She is now pursuing her own musical endeavor in the name of education, alongside her daughter, highly renowned recording artist Cammie Beverly. Designed to help and appeal to children and adults alike, the discography of Learn About It, Sing About It includes a sophisticated and entertaining look into reading and writing objectives.
